Airsoft is a simple sport/hobby very similar to paintball. It centers around realistic weapons that shoot 6mm plastic bb's and paintballs. There are 3 basic types of guns: Gas (Blowback & Non-Blowback), Electric (mostly refered to as AEG's), and Spring. I've had my experience with all 3 and I have determined that Gas Blowback is where it's at. AEG's, especially high-end rifles can be a lot of fun and are worthy of collecting. Spring powered guns are for the most part crap unless you're dealing with a high-end sniper rifle.

My Collection

Electric

This is the centerpiece of my collection, a Tokyo Mauri M4A1. The M4A1 is my favorite weapon.

This is another prized posession. The Tokyo Mauri MP5A4 is perfect for a little CQB.

This is a Steyer AUG mad by CSI. It's a low-end electric, but it's still a nice looking gun.

This is a WELL D-90F. It's another low-end electric, but it's a fun version of the FN P90.

Gas

This is my first Gas Blowback. It's a KJW M9. It's good for realism and great fun to shoot.

I have always loved the Glock pistols. This is a KSC G17. It's beautiful and shoots flawlessly.

This is a must have for Golck fans. This is a KWA G18C. It is select fire, semi and full auto. Good times.

This is a KWA MAC-11. It's not the prettiest gun, but it's a blast to shoot and sometimes, you just want to feel like a terrorist (or drug dealer or whatever).

Spring

This is the "M41A" from Double Eagle. It's a cheap copy of the H&K G36C, but it's still fun.
